Prints
What sizes are available?
Most works are available as prints, usually in these sizes:
- A4 — 21 × 29.7 cm
- A3 — 29.7 × 42 cm
- A2 — 42 × 59.4 cm
- A1 — 59.4 × 84.1 cm
The sizes for each work are listed on its page.
What are they printed on?
Prints are made on Ilford Smooth Cotton Rag Fine Art paper and sent unframed.
Are they limited editions?
Yes. Prints are usually made in editions of 15 in A4, A3 and A2, and 5 in A1. The details for each work are on its page.
Do they come with a statement of authenticity?
Yes. Every print and every original comes with a statement of authenticity.
How does the artwork sit on the paper?
I position each print so it fills the paper and fits a standard frame.
Framing and care
Will a print fit a ready-made frame?
Prints in standard A sizes fit ready-made frames. A framer can also help you choose a mat and arrangement.
How do I look after a print?
Keep it flat until it's framed and handle it with clean, dry hands. Once framed, hang it away from direct sun and damp.
Originals
Can I buy an original?
Some works are available as originals, which are usually framed and always one of a kind. If an original is available, you'll find it below the print sizes on that work's page.
How do originals reach me?
Within New Zealand, you can collect from my Wellington studio, or I'll arrange a specialist art courier after you buy and confirm the cost with you first. Outside New Zealand, please enquire before buying.
Can I see more of a work first?
Yes. Get in touch and I'll send more photos or details.
Commissions, studio and classes
Do you take commissions?
Yes. I love commissions and collaborations, and work directly with clients, interior designers, architects and other creative collaborators. Get in touch to talk about an idea.
Can I visit the studio?
Studio visits are available privately, by appointment. Please get in touch to arrange a time.
Do you teach printmaking?
From time to time, I run small classes and one-to-one workshops. Subscribe to my newsletter to hear when the next one is on, or get in touch if you're interested.
Shipping
Where do you ship?
For now, prints go to New Zealand and Australia. If you're somewhere else, please get in touch.
When will my print arrive?
Prints are usually sent within 5–7 working days, with tracking. If the studio is closed for a break, the dispatch date is shown in the banner at the top of the site.
How much is shipping?
Within New Zealand it's a flat $15 NZD. To Australia it's a flat $45 NZD, shown in Australian dollars at checkout. Any import duties or taxes are charged on arrival.
How are prints packed?
Usually rolled in acid-free tissue and sent in a sturdy tube, by tracked courier with signature on delivery.
Orders and returns
Can I return a print?
Prints are made to order, so I can't accept returns for a change of mind. If you're unsure about a size, please ask before buying.
What if it arrives damaged?
Please let me know within 7 days, with your order number and a photo, and I'll replace it or refund you in full. More in the refund policy.
What currency are prices in?
New Zealand dollars. Prices for New Zealand orders include GST. If you're in Australia, prices are shown in Australian dollars and no GST is charged.
